Terms of Service
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms apply when you use lamnox.com or a Lamnox workspace. By creating an account or paying for the service you agree to them on behalf of the business you represent.
Who you are dealing with
Lamnox is a sole trader business owned and run by Marcus Dobie, trading as Lamnox from the United Kingdom. Postal address: T1202 Nottingham One, 157 Canal Street, Nottingham, NG1 7HG, United Kingdom. It is not a limited company or other separate legal entity, so your contract is with Marcus Dobie trading as Lamnox and he is personally responsible for providing the service.
What Lamnox is
Lamnox is subscription software for kitchen remodeling businesses. It builds and runs local advertising, landing pages and appointment booking, sends text and email messages, makes follow-up calls, and reports what is working. Lamnox is not a contractor, broker or lead reseller: enquiries you receive through the service belong to you, and the advertising accounts we operate for you remain yours.
Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in access secure — you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account covers one business. Team members can be invited and should use their own logins.
- Tell us immediately about a sign-in or account you think someone else is using.
Fees and billing
- The software subscription is $290 per month, which includes a monthly allowance of AI conversation minutes and text messages.
- You choose a daily advertising spend. Ad spend is billed monthly at the daily amount multiplied by thirty days, together with the software fee as a single monthly charge.
- Payment is taken automatically each month by our payment provider and renews until you cancel.
- Ad spend pays for delivering your adverts on the advertising platform. Choosing a spend level is not a promise of a number of enquiries, appointments or jobs.
- If a charge fails, we may pause advertising or the workspace until payment is resolved.
Cancellation
You can request cancellation from Settings and tell us why. A verified subscription ends at the close of the current billing period; if the payment service is unavailable, your request is recorded and followed up by a person. Cancelling does not promise a refund of amounts already charged or of advertising already delivered, and does not keep your pages and records hosted indefinitely.
Advertising
- You must own or have the right to use every photo, video, price claim, review and brand detail you publish, and your offers must be genuine and available.
- You authorise us to create and manage advertising on your behalf for your business, in your chosen area, using your chosen budget.
- Advertising platforms set their own policies and decide whether adverts are approved. We help you meet their rules, but we cannot control their decisions or guarantee delivery.
- We may pause or refuse work that would clearly break a platform's rules, the law, or these terms.
Text messages and calls
Text messaging and calls to people who are not already your customer need consent and carrier approval. Lamnox provides the opt-in capture, opt-out handling and records that support this, but approval is granted by carriers and telecom regulators, not by us, and can take time or be refused. You remain responsible for the messages sent to your own contacts. Messages stop when someone replies STOP, and we pass opt-out records to the relevant systems so the same number is not messaged again.
Your content
You keep ownership of your business information, photos and messages. You give Lamnox permission to use, edit, format and publish that content to provide the service — for example to build an advert, a landing page or a reminder. You can ask us to remove content, and we may remove content that breaches these terms.
Fair use
You agree not to use Lamnox to break the law, impersonate another business, send unsolicited messages, mislead customers, infringe someone's rights, interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it or use it to train a competing system.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Lamnox running, but the service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider faults or incidents, and features may be added, changed or withdrawn. We will tell account holders about changes that materially affect them; continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
Suspension and termination
You can stop at any time. We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, abuse, unlawful content, or a pattern that puts our customers or the messaging networks at risk, and we will explain why wherever we are allowed to.
Results and disclaimers
Lamnox is a tool, not a guarantee. We do not promise a particular number of enquiries, appointments, jobs or revenue, and marketing outcomes depend on your market, offer, pricing and follow-through. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Lamnox is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit or lost business, and our total responsibility for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. This limit does not apply to our fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited.
Because Lamnox is a sole trader business rather than a separate legal entity, these responsibilities rest with Marcus Dobie personally.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute about them is dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. That does not take away any consumer or business protection you have under the law of the country where you live or trade.
