Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
Lamnox runs the marketing and customer-handling system behind kitchen remodeling businesses — the ads, landing pages, appointment booking, text messages and follow-up calls. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Lamnox is a sole trader business owned and run by Marcus Dobie, trading as Lamnox from the United Kingdom. Postal address: T1202 Nottingham One, 157 Canal Street, Nottingham, NG1 7HG, United Kingdom. It is not a limited company or other separate legal entity, so Marcus Dobie is personally responsible for the information described in this policy and for how the service is run.
Who is responsible for the information
A remodeler who uses Lamnox decides what happens to their own leads and customers, and Lamnox handles that information on the remodeler's behalf. For people who sign up for Lamnox, contact lamnox.com directly, or receive a message we send, Lamnox is the organisation responsible for the information described here.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address, optionally a mobile number, and the sign-in codes we send you. You do not need to create a password.
- Business details — your website, business name and description, service area, address, and the company information needed to register text messaging with carriers.
- Marketing content — photos, offers, ad copy and video you upload or ask us to create, plus the ads and landing pages we build for you.
- Lead and appointment information — names, phone numbers, email addresses, project details and appointment times submitted through your landing pages, plus the messages and calls that follow.
- Connected account data — if you connect a calendar, we can see your availability and create or remove the appointment events we book for you.
- Billing information — your subscription and ad spend amounts. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our systems.
- Usage and technical data — pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and records of errors, messages and calls, so we can run and improve the service.
How we use it
- To create, run and measure advertising and landing pages for a business.
- To capture enquiries, book and remind people of appointments, and keep a record of conversations.
- To send account, billing, security and service messages.
- To provide support, detect abuse and prevent fraud.
- To improve the product and keep it reliable.
Who we share information with
We share information with the companies that help us deliver the service, and only for what they do:
- Ad platforms — to run and report on advertising a business has asked us to place.
- Messaging and telephone carriers — to deliver text messages and calls.
- Payment provider — to take payment and issue invoices.
- Email delivery provider — to send account, reminder and follow-up emails.
- Voice, speech and video services — to make the AI phone calls and render video adverts.
- Calendar providers — only when a remodeler connects their own calendar, to check availability and create or cancel appointments.
- Cloud hosting and storage — to run the software and keep records.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share text-message opt-in or consent records with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep information while an account is open and for as long as needed to provide the service, keep records we are legally required to keep (for example invoices), and resolve disputes. When a business closes its account we delete or anonymise what it holds, except where we must retain something.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people who need it, administrative tools are restricted to verified staff, calendar and service credentials are stored encrypted, and we log administrative access to customer records. No system is perfectly secure, so we also tell affected customers promptly when we become aware of a real breach of their information.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to stop using it, by emailing hello@lamnox.com.
- Homeowners who want their details removed should contact the remodeler who took their enquiry, or us, and we will pass the request on.
Children
Our service is a business tool for trade and design companies. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Where information is handled
Our systems and providers are mainly located in the United States, while our team may work from other countries. Where information moves between countries we rely on the safeguards our providers publish, such as standard contractual clauses.
Changes and complaints
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and, for material changes, tell account holders. If you are unhappy with how we handle information, email us first; you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
